This is where it all started for us, with our first project for Virgin Freeway – Virgin Atlantic's loyalty miles programme. Our design approach used metallic silver, punched holes and circular images to create a distinctive brand. The Freeway logotype was an existing mark.
The membership card we designed was the first ever magnetic swipe card to feature punched holes as part of the design.
In '92 Virgin set a Christmas card design competition for its external marketing, design and advertising agencies. Our prize winning design would take us to Japan a few months later courtesy of Virgin Airlines.
